This London base nail salon would make any fashionista book a ticket, just to get this creative art on your precious fingers. Wish they were here in the states.. sigh :(

Wellington Rain Boots (Nike)

 Nike is one brand that is ever changing and evolving and will always stay relative. For the sneaker heads around the world nothing compares to a good pair of Nike's. If your like me you can do without the kicks and would much prefer a pair of comfy flats, or super cute stilettos. The wellington rain boot, is HOT if you live in a rainy place like Miami, these are a must have. I mean its summer and it rains everyday geesh. I love the bright colors and the height of the boot, and for the sneaker lover it still gives you a sneaker feel with laces and the Nike logo on the side. The boots are not  available in the USA, just JAPAN, but I'm sure they will be on their way soon, because these will be a big seller, I just know they will..  I think I may have to just purchase a pair, this rain is starting to ruin my good shoes.. umm thinking..

Something Old to Something New..

My uncle was here visiting from Atlanta this weekend for my Grandmother's surprise 78th birthday party, when I spotted this cool, star-wars t-shirt he had, My mind immediately started to race on what I could do with it, or how I could re-create a look, so I course I had to have this t-shirt, and he gave in so easily, SCORE for me.. pumps fist and screams yeah in my USHER voice.. The shirt was already cut low and the sleeves were cut off, so I cut it a bit lower in the front and gathered the sleeves to make the bottom have a balloon blousy effect.. I think I will pair it with some rip jean shorts, or tie-dyed ripped jeans and a bandu,  under the t-shirt and a bright lip, and a splash of color shoe or a crazy pattern... If I decide to wear it at night I'll do a micro mini with heels, and throw on a light cardigan or motorcycle jacket if its breeze out.. Check out the pics, before and after..

Oh how I LUV Mrs. Jackson if your Nasty...lol.. she is grace cover in warm brown sugar, I've loved her from the Good Times and Different Stroke days, to Poetic Justice. Her music puts me in a different space, something I throw on when,  I'm feeling sexy in the mood for some loving.. She gives me so much fever...

IF YOU HAVE TO CRY GO OUTSIDE

So my bff is a Celebrity Publicist and a bit obsessed with Kelly Cutrone(the FAMOUS PUBLICIST and owner of People's Revolution) so of course I'm basically force to know everything I can about this great individual, and actually I'm grateful, my bff gave me the book "If you have to cry go outside." By Mrs. Cutrone and I must say it is a GREAT read.. Granted I don't have any wish or desire to be a publicist but this book is for the women that has a dream, who wants to make something of herself no matter what it takes, or what people say.. HINT HINT me.. This book puts several things back into perspective for me, and I'm forever grateful. After reading this book, I will not stop at what it takes to make my dreams a reality.. I do know that the FASHION INDUSTRY has a spot waiting on ME... won't stop can't stop DIDDY VOICE... I have never been afraid to go after what I want, but with so much rejection lately its been weighing on me heavy, but I know I have talent and that's something that GOD gives you, and when one door closes another opens... so with that said I'm grinding trying to get what I can get to I get what I want...

Marc Jacob and several others have shown us how sophisticated this shoe can be, whether paired with thin socks( a-la- school girl) or with floral flow y shorts, or micro minis, these shoes are sure to become a go to fav, just like childhood. I can vividly remember a pair had in 5th grade, they were a cherry wood color with silver buckles on the side, I fell in love walking pass Bakers shoe store window in the mall and HAD to have them.(yes HAD, although during my childhood I had to have a lot of things.. shrugs shoulders and laughs) They were a HIT on my 5th grade trip to the St. Augustine... check some of my favs below..
